May your soul rest in peace, our esteemed Professor Funke!

Dear Prof. Funke,

I am very sad to hear about the demise of you. Though, you are not physically not with us but you  have accoupied into hearts of thousand of people!! My last meeting with you was at Padova, Italy during June 2017. Your legacy will be always cherished by all who knew about you. Apart from academic, I learned how one should humble, patience, respect others...many more. You will be always with us never forget. I pray that the blessings of the Lord shall envelope you from the crown of your head to the sole of your feet.
